Sautéed Turkey Hearts and Gizzards with Vegetables

Turkey hearts and gizzards

Ingredients

For the sauté:

  • 200g turkey hearts
  • 200g turkey gizzards
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 zucchini, sliced
  • 1 onion, julienned
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the side:

  • 200g basmati rice
  • 400ml water
  • Salt to taste

Preparations

Prepare the sauté:

  • Heat olive oil in a large pan.
  • Add turkey hearts and gizzards, sauté until browned.
  • Add garlic, bell pepper, zucchini, and onion, cook until vegetables are tender.
  • Stir in soy sauce and honey, cook for 2 more minutes.
  • Season with salt and pepper.

Prepare the side:

  • Rinse rice under cold water.
  • Cook rice with water and salt in a pot until tender.

Serve

  • Serve sautéed turkey hearts and gizzards with vegetables.
  • Accompany with basmati rice.
